Scars and Stripes
By
Tim Kennedy

Tim Kennedy's success is nearly unbelievable. Here is a collection of stories from a man who consistently had the wrong attitude and made the wrong decisions to the point where he hit absolute rock bottom. His successful ascension from that low-point to Green Beret, business owner, and family man is nothing short of inspiring.

Green Lights
By
Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey collects his thoughts surrounding purpose, finding oneself, living life to the fullest, and recognizing "greenlights" when they appear. His collection of stories, journal entries, and opinions is unique view into the mind of a man who is firmly grounded in life and is not only successful from a career and business perspective, but also in an intangible way. This book makes you take yourself less seriously, and view decisions in a different light.

The Terminal List
By
Jack Carr

Amazon Prime released an original adaptation of this book starring Chris Pratt that piqued my interest in Jack Carr's novel (and the book is so much better than the show, which I didn't think would be possible). Author Jack Carr served as a Navy SEAL for 20 years and does an incredible job blending his real-world experiences and knowledge with fiction. This book is a next-level thriller about a SEAL betrayed by his country, shadow politics, and above all: revenge.
