Job Summary:

PYA Waltman Capital, LLC is seeking qualified candidates to join its growing team as a Financial Planning Support Specialist. The Specialist provides organizational and analytical support to PYA Waltman Capital financial planning associates, advisors, and the Director of Financial Planning Services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support to the PYA Waltman Capital team includes:
  1. Gathering and organizing financial planning data
  2. Developing financial plan analysis and scenarios
  3. Assisting with preparation for client meetings
  4. Managing meeting notes and action items for both internal and client meetings
• Assist with project management by proactively managing action items for the planning team, with a focus on moving client engagements ahead Assist with other projects and research as needed
  

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of one year experience in the financial services industry, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

• Team player, collaborative, takes initiative, and exhibits critical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities and multi-task
• Committed to providing excellent client service; possesses a passion to help new and existing clients
